Being trafficked often isn’t the first abuse experienced.  70-90% of survivors of sex trafficking say they were sexually abused in childhood and this was a major factor in their decision to leave home.

FIND THE PUSH AND PULL FACTORS. FIND WHAT FUELS THEM. SHUT OFF THE SUPPLY.

An over-sexualized, consumer-driven society will create over-sexualized, consumer-drive children who are vulnerable to the likes of sex traffickers.

STRATEGIES

We will research and listen in order to understand vulnerabilities and abuse of power in our communities.  We will network and mobilize to protect the vulnerable, prevent their exploitation and enable their participation in community.  Our target launch period is four years.  Our goal is to be self-sustaining and permanently present until all are free.

We ask ourselves:  Which of these push/pull factors is closest to us?  Who is most affected by these factors?  What can we do…

... TO EFFECT THE MOST NUMBER OF PEOPLE     ... THAT REPRESENTS THE LOWEST RISK TO OUR VOLUNTEERS     ... THAT REQUIRES THE LEAST AMOUNT OF RESOURCES     ... THAT WILL RENDER THE HIGHEST PROBABILITY OF CHANGE     ... AND PRODUCES THE HEALTHIEST OUTCOME

BEGIN THERE.
